Medical-Surgical RN in Antioch, TN

Embark on a rewarding assignment working in a dynamic Med/Surg environment within a float pool. This position involves comprehensive care for adult patients across five Med/Surg units, offering valuable experience and professional development. Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts required
• Flexible scheduling arranged by the unit

Role Overview:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adults (18+) on general Med/Surg floors
• Float between five Med/Surg units as needed, including periodic support for the Emergency Room
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
• Maintain a patient ratio ranging from 1:1 to 1:6, in accordance with unit requirements
• Adhere to facility protocols and standards, ensuring safe administration of medications and therapies
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Navy scrubs are required while on duty

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a participating compact state (must be verified at submission)
• Minimum of two years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Comfortable floating to multiple units and occasionally the ER
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred
