The North Plainfield School District, a culturally diverse school community in Somerset County serving approximately 3,700 students in Pre-K through Grade 12, invites applications for a Mathematics Teacher.

For candidates who are still in the process of obtaining certification, please note that the North Plainfield School District is approved to participate in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program, which may allow eligible candidates to work in a full-time teaching role while completing their remaining certification requirements.


Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Possess the appropriate New Jersey Mathematics certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred
• Successful classroom teaching experience with demonstrated instructional expertise
• Experience analyzing student achievement data to inform instructional decisions
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Salary Range

69,630- 103,470, commensurate with experience and in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
