AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Baltimore, MD school district to hire a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the PT will conduct assessments, build and execute effective treatment plans, and educate students to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.Responsibilities for this role include: &bull

\tPartner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students restore and maintain their physical functions.&bull

\tScreen and evaluate students referred to Physical Therapy treatment. &bull

\tAppropriately collect data, report findings.&bull

\tDiagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans to help patients reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.&bull

\tProvide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services as required.&bull

\tMaintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards. &bull

\tParticipate on a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student treatment. Required Qualifications

Physical Therapist, School &bull

Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program &bull

Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) &bull

Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in MD &bull

Clear, articulate communication skills &bull

Ability to explain results to a varied audience &bull

Candidates with previous school experience a plus! &bull

Completion of a criminal record and background check
