PRN Physical Therapist

Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents. As a Physical Therapist, you will work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Your primary goal will be to enhance each patient's functional mobility, promote recovery, and improve their quality of life. Compensation ranges from $43-$62 per hour . Responsibilities Develop personalized treatment plans for residents to address physical impairments, mobility issues, and functional deficits. Administer appropriate physical therapy treatments to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence. Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy plans, safety precautions, and continued care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure holistic patient care. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations related to rehabilitation therapy. Qualifications Current, active state license as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy). Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or geriatric care is preferred but not required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
