Overview

Seeking a motivated, reliable, dedicated and oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Medication Preparation and Dispensing:
• • Interpreting prescriptions and filling them accurately
  • Measuring and packaging medications.
  • Packaging and delivering medications following standard procedures to ensure safe and secure delivery
  • Labeling prescriptions according to customer orders
  • Ensuring proper dosages and administration of medications are sent to customers
  • Operating automated dispensing equipment, scanners, pallet jack
  • Inventory Management:

• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• • Monitoring stock levels and ordering medications
  • Checking incoming shipments against purchase orders
  • Ensuring proper storage and labeling of medications
  • Removing expired medications from shelves

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
• Working with automated dispensing systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple task efficiently

Requirements

• A valid Pharmacy Technician Certificate
• High school diploma/GED required with 1yr experience
• You are familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand, and generic names of medications)
• You are available to work within operating hours: Los Angeles Pharmacy Hours: Mon - Fri: 8am-5pm
• Pass a livescan
• Pass a background and drug screening
