Essential Job Responsibilities Supporting the Procurement Manager with day-to-day activities. Purchasing materials and supplies. Sourcing and quoting products to meet production needs. Working within a given budget to purchase goods and services. Maintaining an inventory of supplies and materials, determining when to make purchases. Placing and tracking orders with vendors and suppliers.Entering and updating purchase orders. Estimating and sourcing by contacting suppliers for pricing. Checking invoices for accuracy and authorizing the accounts payable department to issue payment. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field required. 3–5 years of directly related procurement experience required. Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred. Strong organizational skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
