Project Executive – Role Overview Mid‑City Electric is seeking a strategic leader to drive the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑value electrical projects. The Project Executive collaborates with customers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality project outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee project execution from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Lead, mentor, and guide project management teams to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement. Monitor project progress and implement strategies to address potential risks and challenges, including scope changes, delays, and cost overruns. Drive a culture of safety by ensuring all projects comply with company safety standards and regulatory requirements. Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and expand opportunities for future projects. Provide senior leadership with regular and transparent project updates, including financial performance, project status, and key metrics. Assist in developing proposals, project bids, and contract negotiations. Key Experience Construction Management or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent experience in electrical service work combined with proven leadership experience. Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, financial, and engineering principles. Understanding of the market and ability to secure business opportunities in line with the company's service offerings. Ability to maximize employee performance through innovative and effective management techniques. Proficiency with project management and estimating software, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace (Accubid, Spectrum, P6 preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to diverse groups. Desirable Experience LEED experience. Deep understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. Proven ability to lead diverse teams and retain business opportunities.
