*Job Overview*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
* Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
* Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.

*Requirements*

* Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
* Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
* Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and food preparation techniques in the food industry.
* Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when necessary.
