Medical Office Specialist

Hourly Wage Estimate $15.86 - $22.99 per hour Job Summary Full time (Monday–Friday, days), no nights, no on‑call, no weekends, no holidays. We are seeking a Medical Office Specialist to provide clerical expertise and ensure all patients receive high‑quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: Work at the reception desk, answer phones, greet and communicate with patients and providers. Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments. Check in patients and document registration accurately. Verify insurance and patient demographics. File and retrieve medical records/files. Copy and fax documents. Collect co‑pays and cash from patients, authorize credit card payments. Enter charges and payments, balance the day on the computer. Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement. Qualifications One to three years of experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred. Experience working in a specific specialty (preferred).
