Senior Technical Program Manager, Global Services

Salary: $141,300 - 191,100 per year Requirements:

• We own the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional programs spanning identity services, device tracking, printing infrastructure, and fleet-scale mobile applications.
• We define mission, goals, success measures, and milestone plans for our programs.
• We guide architecture choices by understanding system boundaries, scaling limits, and failure scenarios across serverless backends, Android apps, and IoT messaging systems.
• We turn ambiguous needs into executable plans with clear dependencies and risk mitigations.
• We set program scope when requirements are not yet defined.
• We negotiate priorities and resources across teams to remove delivery blockers.
• We coordinate multi-service launches that depend on synchronized backend, Android, and operator tooling releases.
• We contribute to organizational roadmap planning, including OP1 and OP2 narratives.
• We write 6-pagers and present updates to Directors and VPs.
• We proactively reduce exposure to risk from weak requirements, cross-team misalignment, untested assumptions, and architecture that does not fit the business case.
• In our day-to-day work, we review program status, analyze design documents, resolve interface dependencies, run cross-team alignment meetings, inspect deployment metrics, and update program narratives with current progress and next actions.

We are Amazons Global Services for Devices team within OTS Device Technologies, and we own the service layer that keeps our global warehouse device fleet functional, secure, and manageable at scale. We build and operate identity and authentication services, real-time device tracking and recovery, impact detection and coaching, printing infrastructure, fleet provisioning and configuration delivery, the device home screen experience, per-user preference roaming, and operator tooling for site leadership. This role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and the posted base salary range is 141,300 to 191,100 USD annually, with additional sign-on payments, restricted stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and other coverage depending on eligibility and location.
