Whether certified via your degree, through the Department of Education, or through vast experience, we are interested. We have a lot of students that have both intellectual and learning disabilities which greatly affect their education. We need a teacher that can come on and help them learn and absorb their studies at their pace and help them get to their grade level and beyond. Patience and diligence are two traits that are definitely needed to help our students! Core skills that are covered in all of the elementary level lessons: reading, writing, vocabulary, phonics, and math. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced part time teacher to join our team! As a Tutor, you will assist students individually and in small groups, helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, understanding, and has a passion for education! Responsibilities Help students understand new concepts Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments Teach problem-solving skills Qualifications Previous experience as a Tutor is preferred 4 year bachelor's degree is MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
