Clinical Psychologist - Pediatric Sleep Medicine

Overview We are recruiting a psychologist with expertise in behavioral sleep medicine. This position will include screening, assessment, and evidence-based intervention for youth in the Children’s Mercy Sleep Disorders Program, the only pediatric program in the region accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The sleep psychologist will collaborate with a robust team of sleep medicine physicians, advance practice providers, respiratory therapists, and sleep technicians within the Division of Allergy, Immunology, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine to provide multidisciplinary care, conduct behavioral sleep interventions, support CPAP adherence, and participate in complex medical clinics such as narcolepsy, cataplexy, and parasomnias. The role also includes a strong teaching component with both psychology and medical trainees, protected academic time for service, research, and scholarly activities, and an academic appointment at the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine.
