Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Manage a patient ratio ranging from 1:5 to 1:7 depending on unit needs
• Float to various units within the facility as required based on census and staffing needs
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Ability to float to multiple units throughout the facility
• Availability to work every other weekend as required
• Must be able to complete pre-employment compliance requirements, including labs within 48 hours of signing and Pennsylvania fingerprinting within 1 week of signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) experience preferred
• Prior float pool or travel nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
