RentersHub is seeking a proactive, organized, and dependable Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential property portfolio. Reporting directly to the Property Manager, you will assist with tenant communication, leasing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and administrative tasks. This role requires moderate tenant interaction and occasional travel between properties. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, ready to provide outstanding customer service and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day management of residential properties.
• Serve as a point of contact for tenant questions, concerns, and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, vendors, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
• Support leasing activities including inquiries, showings, applications, lease documentation, and move-ins/outs.
• Maintain accurate tenant, property, maintenance, and leasing records using AppFolio.
• Assist with property inspections and ensure follow-up items are completed.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, owners, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Assist with rent-related communications, notices, lease renewals, and tenant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies in properties and leasing practices.
• Support Property Manager with reports, scheduling, and administrative duties.
• Resolve tenant concerns efficiently and professionally.
• Identify problems proactively and assist in finding solutions. 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Experience with property management software, especially AppFolio
• Strong skills in tenant relations, lease administration, and maintenance coordination
• Knowledge of Fair Housing compliance and record management
• Effective communication, problem solving, scheduling, and time management skills

Compensation

$45K - $50K / yr (plus commission)
