Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use best practices grounded in research to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Care Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide training on therapy methods to empower patients and their caregivers in their ongoing recovery at home
• Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or additional certifications post-graduation

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
