The company generated 2024 revenues of $3.6 billion.Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets.Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts.Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.Position SummaryResponsible for providing technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment and application support, which requires up to 75% of time of outside and onsite work.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment and application supportComplete rotating equipment alignment to nominated tolerances using dial indicators or laser equipmentTrain and mentor field service personnel smart motor installation practicesProvide on-site start up services and troubleshooting to customers within the United States and document all procedures and recommendations and provide reportsDemonstrate an ability to fault find and self-manage so as to avoid unnecessary breakage or lost time through incorrect installation techniquesTroubleshooting smart motor and associated equipmentAssist with assembly of smart motors and associated equipment including manufacturing and fabricating along with the repair of modifications associated with smart motor equipmentOffer support to field service and monitoring teamOrganize personnel for smart motor installation and activationDemonstrate understanding of motor KPV trendsOffer field service team support with site related fault findingFollow written instructions and complete all nominated checkpoints before handover of paperworkProvide timely advice to Operations Manager of field service tooling and consumables stock deficiencies to allow replacementMaintain tools and equipment in operating condition and advise supervisor of deficienciesImplement the set vision to the Filed Service departmentContribute to a positive safety culture throughout the business by alignment with safety processes, policies and legislation along with support for new initiativesFollow and set a positive example for all ITT Code of Conduct rules and guidelines and ensure commitment to ITT's vision, mission and values and act in accordance with the Working with One Another programAdhere to all company rules, processes, policies and requirementsPosition RequirementsAssociates degree in Electrical Engineering or higher desirableTrade certificate in Electrical or electronics desirableRestricted Electrical License desirable or 5 years experienceAdvanced electrical trouble shooting capabilityBe capable to read & interpret both schematics and Piping and Instrumentation diagramsBe experienced with process & motor control methodologiesMinimum 5 years practical experience and knowledge with various motor typesPreventative Maintenance & Reliability experience desirablePeople management experience strongly desirableStrong English language skills both verbal and writtenExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsCommitment to ongoing professional developmentBasic computer and Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel and WordUnderstand and implement quality principlesEngagement in modern safety principlesProfessional appearance and approachAvailability to travel to support planned business growthITT1remoteEqual Pay Act StatementWe aim to pay our 'ITT'ers' fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work.
