Responsibilities Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure construction activities comply with contract requirements, project specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. Conduct site visits and lead progress and coordination meetings. Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and record drawings. Review pay applications, invoices, and change order requests. Track project costs and assist with project budgeting and financial reporting. Oversee testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities. Prepare project status reports and maintain effective client relationships. Identify project risks and assist in resolving construction-related issues. Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of construction project management experience. Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of New Jersey. Experience serving as an Owner's Representative, Resident Engineer, or Construction Manager on infrastructure projects. Experience managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and construction activities. Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pumping stations, and collection/distribution systems. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
