Kitchen Porter Responsibilities As a Kitchen Porter at Arzola's, you are the backbone of the kitchen operation. You support the culinary team by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring health and safety standards are met. Key responsibilities include: Delivering our promise of Legendary Hospitality through teamwork and support Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen work surfaces, including counters, walls, sinks, and equipment Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness Washing cookware, utensils, plateware, and cutlery efficiently to keep service running smoothly Organizing and maintaining equipment and ingredient storage areas Rotating food products using proper FIFO (first-in, first-out) procedures Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning Removing trash and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness Requirements & Qualifications Team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and interest in kitchen operations Ability to stand and move for several hours during shifts Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Calm, patient, and composed under pressure Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay: Starting at $18/hour Benefits: As outlined in the Employee Handbook Why Work at Arzola’s?
