We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team, dedicated to optimizing the backend operations at a leading investment firm. This role focuses on enhancing our systems and processes in areas such as residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team, dedicated to optimizing the backend operations at a leading investment firm. This role focuses on enhancing our systems and processes in areas such as residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing.
Responsibilities:
- nalyze and map backend workflows, particularly in settlements, trade processing, and residential mortgage operations, to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and reports to support data analysis and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements and new features.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, prepare detailed documentation, and ensure clear communication between technical teams and business users.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, including setting timelines, milestones, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
- Perform regular system audits and prepare reports for management highlighting potential issues and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role within an investment firm.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- In-depth understanding of investment operations, including residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with specific financial software and platforms relevant to investment operations.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or similar.
