This role requires a floor-visible, operationally driven leader who can optimize production, develop talent, and continuously improve performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Come see who we are at: What would you do as our Site Manager?You will own the day-to-day operation of the plant, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule while developing a team that delivers consistent results.You will also:Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations with a strong focus on production output, efficiency, and on-time deliveryDrive daily execution on the floor … proactively removing roadblocks, managing priorities, and ensuring targets are metEstablish operational discipline across scheduling, labor planning, inventory, and maintenanceMonitor and act on key production metrics (throughput, downtime, scrap, labor efficiency) to drive immediate and sustained improvementChampion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce wasteBuild and develop frontline leaders and supervisors … setting clear expectations, coaching performance, and strengthening accountabilityCreate a high-performance culture centered on safety, ownership, and engagementWork with Door Group leaders to align strategy, resources, and long-term planning and strengthen customer relationsPartner cross-functionally (customer service, planning, HR, finance) to align production with business needsEnsure consistent achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost targetsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate policies, AADG programs, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of ConductThe Skills and Experience you need:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferredProven experience leading manufacturing operations with direct impact on production performanceStrong shop floor leadership presence … visible, accessible, and engaged across shiftsDeep understanding of production flow, scheduling, labor optimization, and operational metricsDemonstrated ability to drive throughput, improve efficiency, and solve operational challenges in real timeExperience building, coaching, and developing manufacturing teams, including frontline leadersBackground in Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement with practical applicationExperience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferredSolid business and financial acumen, including P&L ownershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachOur Benefits:We believe in creating opportunities and providing benefits that empower you to grow, thrive, and build a rewarding lifelong career with us.
