This role is designed for a clinician who balances technical expertise with a compassionate approach, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and acute medical intervention. Core Responsibilities In this role, you will serve as a vital link between technology and patient recovery. Your duties include: Comprehensive Assessment: Conducting initial and ongoing assessments, including full review of systems and admission documentation within established timeframes. Clinical Excellence: Delivering competent, efficient care by interpreting patient data and determining appropriate nursing interventions. Life Span Awareness: Applying knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care for a diverse patient population. Holistic Advocacy: Fulfilling the needs of patients, families, and the community in strict accordance with licensure and regulatory standards. Candidate Requirements Experience & Licensure: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time Med/Surg Telemetry experience in an acute care setting . Licensure: Must hold a current Nevada state nursing license or a valid Compact/Multistate license . Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Compliance: Must successfully pass all facility-required pre-employment assessments. Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Travel Requirement: Radius Rule: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility to be eligible for this contract.
