Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement - Keyser WV

Clinical Specialist role supporting orthopedic surgeons in operating rooms with robotic (Mako) and manual joint replacement procedures. Responsibilities include pre-operative planning, case preparation, equipment troubleshooting, and on-call coverage across a territory. Field-based position requiring 70% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop competency in manual and robotic case coverage through hands-on training and shadowing
• Assist surgeons with CT-based planning, implant sizing, and intra-operative technical support
• Prepare cases including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and troubleshooting in OR
• Manage account coordination tasks including inventory, logistics, and case documentation
• Participate in product demonstrations, education programs, and customer training events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree with 4+ years related experience OR high school diploma with 6+ years
• Valid driver's license and English fluency
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Preferred: 1 year relevant clinical experience (nursing, surgical tech, physical therapy, or similar)
• Ability to manage stressful operating room situations professionally
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage including evenings, weekends, holidays

Compensation: $59,900-$108,300 USD annual (based on pay band determined by location)
