Our law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in trusts, estates, and probate law. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the legal industry with a concentration in litigation. This position requires proficiency in legal writing, legal research, legal document preparation, litigation support, trial preparation, legal assistance, and legal documentation. The successful candidate will be a critical part of our team, providing high-quality legal support to our attorneys and clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough legal research and fact-checking for case preparation.
2. Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing various legal documents such as wills, trusts, and estate plans.
3. Provide litigation support including evidence management and trial preparation.
4. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and court officials in a professional manner.
5. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, depositions, and meetings.
6. Maintain and manage all case-related documents and information in a highly organized manner.
7. Stay updated with the changes in legislation related to trusts, estates, and probate law.
8. Prepare and file court documents in a timely manner.
9. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining attorney calendars, and managing client communications.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, ideally with a focus on trusts, estates, and probate law.
2. Paralegal certification and educational background in law.
3. Proven experience in legal research, legal document preparation, litigation support, trial preparation, and legal assistance.
4. Exceptional legal writing skills and proficiency in drafting various legal documents.
5. Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
6. Proficiency in using legal software for document management and case tracking.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, and court officials.
10. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
