Operational Quality Management Specialist

Operational Quality Management Specialist Metalex Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and quality minded individual to join our Total Quality Team. Metalex’s customer base supports many industries and each has their own unique requirements. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with proven experience in reviewing those technical customer requirements in order to meet contractual obligations and provide pedigree parts and documentation. Preferred experience includes Experience working within Operational/Manufacturing Quality or similar field preferable ISO9001 knowledge AS9100 knowledge preferrable Experience working directly with Customers and Suppliers Ability to read technical drawings & technical specifications & proficient in GD&T Working knowledge of the concepts, methods and tools of quality management including operational compliance and data analysis and trending Required Skills & Attributes Ability & desire to grow, learn new things and take on new responsibilities as expertise elevates. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and fully capable of multitasking Highly proficient in MS Office Applications (especially, ppt, excel & word) Strong data collection and analysis skills (Root cause) Highly conscientious, diligent and team oriented Responsibilities will include Technical Contract Review – Reviewing customer purchase order, drawings and associated documentation to determine requirements Quality Planning – Developing inspection reports and related inspection documentation. Supplier Purchase Order Review - Ensuring appropriate requirements are flowed down. Quality Documentation Management – Maintaining Customer, Supplier and Internal documentation to be provided to the customer upon job completion. Source Inspection - Scheduling visits and working directly with Customer Inspectors when on site. Non-Conformance Management - Notifying and working directly with Customers when part nonconformances occur.
