Litigation Legal Assistant | Tampa | Hybrid | $65K-$75K

FlechaConnect is partnering with an established law firm in Tampa to add an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong litigation background who enjoys being hands-on, organized and an integral part of their attorneys’ practice. The Tampa office has a stable, long-tenured team and is continuing to grow.

The Legal Assistant will support approximately 3–5 attorneys with a mix of business litigation and community association matters. Community association experience is not required.

Candidates coming from business litigation, construction litigation, medical malpractice, bodily injury or other substantive litigation practices are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage attorney calendars, hearings, depositions, mediations, deadlines and client meetings
• Coordinate court reporters and litigation scheduling
• Draft, edit, proofread and format pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery and correspondence
• Assist with e-filing and tracking court and discovery deadlines
• Maintain client and matter documents within the firm's document management system
• Assist with attorney time entry, reports and other practice-related administrative needs
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, courts and outside parties

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and deadlines
• Experience with Florida state and/or federal court procedures
• Excellent calendaring, organization and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple attorneys and competing priorities
• iManage and/or Aderant experience is a plus
• Stable employment history and a desire to find a long-term home

Compensation & Benefits

$65,000–$75,000, depending on experience.
