Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues.
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to devise cohesive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance progress beyond clinical interactions.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity throughout the treatment process.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) for those who have yet to secure ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferably possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within the first month of employment.
