Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will work in a supportive and dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical conditions, utilizing advanced assessment tools and techniques to determine the most effective treatment plan for each individual.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy programs that may include exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities tailored to address the specific needs of orthopedic patients.
• Provide hands-on therapy to assist in pain relief and functional improvement, using methods such as joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and specialized exercise protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about at-home exercise programs and self-management techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Maintain precise records of client evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in regular case reviews and team meetings to discuss patient outcomes, share insights, and refine therapeutic approaches as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and orthopedic treatment methodologies through continuous professional development and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adults and athletes recovering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain issues. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients of varying ages and lifestyles, from active adults seeking to return to sports, to older adults looking to regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic institution.
• Active state licensure in Florida to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, including internships, residencies, or other relevant professional practice.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and appropriate treatment modalities.
• Strong therapeutic manual skills and familiarity with software and tools used for clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with specialty certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or related fields will be viewed favorably. Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting will also be advantageous, particularly in managing a varied client caseload effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
