This is a temporary job opportunity with potential for permanent placement. Position is a Phlebotomist. Location is float covering multiple sites in NY. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 5:45am to 6pm with rotating Saturdays. Projected duration is 3 months with possibility for permanency. Job code is CVDJP00034772. Benefits are offered.
Requires prior experience with patients of all ages. Will be moving between 8 facilities, primarily in the NY area. Candidates local site will serve as the base.
Summary
Main responsibility involves assisting with various tasks, troubleshooting, training, and providing workflow suggestions.
Responsibilities
Experience in blood drawing, labeling samples, centrifuging specimens, updating records, and more. Follows proper procedures for specimen collection, storage, and transportation. Adheres to safety regulations and attends necessary trainings.
Minimum Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification, 6 months work experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years experience required.
