Position Overview:The Business Operations Specialist will serve as a cross-functional resource supporting day-to-day execution across sales, customer service, operations, and administrative functions. This role is designed to increase organizational efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and provide high-level support to key initiatives, while operating independently with minimal oversight. This individual will not serve in a managerial capacity, but rather as a hands-on contributor responsible for driving tasks forward, improving processes, and supporting team output across departments. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct support across sales, operations, and administrative workflows to ensure continuity and efficiencyAssist with order processing, quoting support, and customer service coordinationSupport estimating and project coordination efforts as neededManage and prioritize internal tasks, follow-ups, and communication across teamsHelp document and standardize internal processes to improve consistency and scalabilityAssist with new initiatives and special projects, including system implementations and workflow improvementsAct as a central point of coordination to reduce friction between departmentsMaintain organization of key information, reporting, and internal tracking systemsProactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and take action to resolve them.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or college coursework a plusHighly organized and detail-oriented with strong execution abilityComfortable working across multiple business functions simultaneouslySelf-starter who can operate with limited direction and take ownership of outcomesStrong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teamsAdaptable and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environmentExperience in administrative support, operations support, or business coordination roles preferredKey Competencies:Cross-Functional SupportOrganization & PrioritizationProcess ImprovementCommunication & CollaborationProblem SolvingProject CoordinationCustomer ServiceAdaptability & InitiativeAdministrative SupportAttention to DetailPhysical Activities:Daily activity includes but is not limited to:Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.Reading, communication, math.Be able to regularly lift/move up to 25lbs.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.Compensation and Benefits:Hourly: Competitive hourly pay (non-exempt) commensurate with experience.
