Personal Computer Technician

Akkodis is seeking a PC Support Technician for a Contract opportunity with a client in Poway, CA (onsite). Terms Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Job Summary Seeking a PC Support Technician to provide onsite, remote, and phone-based technical support for enterprise users. The role will handle hardware/software troubleshooting, workstation deployments, equipment refreshes, and user support in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and replace PCs, laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, scanners, and mobile devices. Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Linux, and Mac OS. Perform imaging, workstation deployments, software installations, upgrades, and equipment refreshes. Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, connectivity, and peripheral issues. Manage ServiceNow tickets, document resolutions, and elevate issues when needed. Maintain asset/inventory records and coordinate warranty/vendor repairs. Provide professional customer service and support users with varying technical skills. Safely move and install equipment up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications 2+ years of enterprise PC support experience. Associate degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience with CompTIA A+. Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills. Experience with Windows 10+, Office 365, imaging, deployments, and equipment refreshes. Basic Linux and Mac OS support experience. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
