About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care practice. The PA will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of various ages, working closely with the physician and healthcare team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Obtain and document comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose illnesses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disorders.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
• Perform or assist with office-based procedures as appropriate.
• Review laboratory and diagnostic results and communicate findings and treatment plans to patients.
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and office staff.
• Follow established clinical, safety, HIPAA, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification (or eligibility, as applicable).
• Current DEA registration and prescribing privileges, as required or Eligible
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous primary care or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the physician and healthcare team.
