Work Environment\n

Our outpatient office setting operates remotely, allowing for flexibility and a modern approach to therapy. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to mental health that meets virtually and continually collaborates to provide the best patient care. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a balanced schedule that promotes work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate new clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Provide individualized therapy to clients, applying evidence-based practices in sessions tailored to individuals, couples, or families.

• Document clinical notes promptly and accurately using electronic health record systems in compliance with California laws and insurance requirements.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations with team members to foster collaborative treatment approaches and share insights for improved client outcomes.
\n
• Participate in clinical training and supervision opportunities to enhance your skills and ensure adherence to therapeutic best practices.

• Maintain ethical standards of care and confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines and Board of Behavioral Sciences regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve diverse populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals. You will address a spectrum of issues ranging from relationship conflicts, anxiety, and depression to significant life changes and trauma recovery. Your ability to connect and empathize with clients from various backgrounds will play a crucial role in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• Current California License: You must be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing.

• Clinical Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, though some associate-level applicants may be considered based on skill and fit.

• Expertise in Therapeutic Modalities: Solid proficiency in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed approaches.

• Technical Skills: Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems and virtual therapy platforms, such as SimplePractice and Zoom, to facilitate seamless client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities in languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Farsi are advantageous.

• Experience or training in working with specific populations, such as those dealing with substance use issues or serious mental illness, can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
