Our values underpin everything that we do at CLS and define our working environment: Pivotal purpose Trusted guardian Targeted innovation Facilitate connections Delivering excellence Inclusive culture Job information: Functional title – Director, Regulatory Relations Department – Regulatory Relations Corporate level – Director Report to – Head of Regulatory Relations Location – NJ Base pay / salary (NY/NJ) - 184K-195K Base salary What you will be doing: Lead CLS’s engagement with the FRBNY Supervisory teams for ongoing supervisory activities, the FRB for Regulation HH activities, and the Oversight Committee and the OC Secretariat at the FRBNY. Manage end to end supervisory examinations, including reg engagement and response / update letters for any required remediation Manage and lead end-to-end the Reg HH ANPC filings process, including the filing and on-site reviews and advising on the process and imparting subject matter knowledge. If needed, Reg Y filings would be managed similarly to the ANPC process. Manage BAU engagement with the regulators, including OC workshops/deep dives, continuous monitoring meetings, submissions and deliverables Collaborate with the three lines of defense and ensure they are involved and engaged, as appropriate. Continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency and manage regulatory risk Lead / contribute to the risk and controls testing for Regulatory Relations. What we’re looking for: Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory or legal departments within the financial services industry; J.D. strongly preferred. Leadership skills in being able to organize and manage large stakeholder pools and meeting tight deadlines Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders including liaising with the regulators Acute attention to detail and ability to manage high volume of information and high execution mode of an environment. Able to work at a DFMU with regulatory scrutiny and fast paced environment Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and be professional upholding high ethical standards Subject matter expert in regulatory matters and can develop relationships to be able to provide sound advice to the business divisions Results oriented and ensures timely delivery and execution Organized self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team Professional qualifications / certifications Bachelor’s Degree Juris Doctor (Strongly preferred) Our commitment to employees: At CLS, we celebrate inclusion and consider this to be one of our strongest assets.
