Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid SLPA license or credential in the state of California
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Solid understanding of child development and speech-language disorders
• Ability to follow therapy plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping diverse student populations achieve their goals

Core Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of speech-language interventions tailored to student needs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement individual or small group therapy sessions as outlined in students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assist in the collection and documentation of data on student progress
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Contribute to a positive, productive school environment by maintaining professional and ethical standards
