Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Administer treatments, monitor patient status, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes during a 15-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival and throughout the shift.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac activity, utilizing cardiac monitors.
• Collaborate with trauma teams and healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii nursing license prior to the start of the assignment.
• Demonstrate minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts with flexibility on schedule.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork abilities.
