Quality Control Scientist position at Pfizer's Andover, Massachusetts facility focused on maintaining cGMP-compliant laboratory operations. Responsibilities include bioburden and endotoxin testing, product disposition support, and regulatory documentation. First shift, Sunday–Thursday schedule with occasional off-hours coverage.
Responsibilities
- Perform bioburden and endotoxin testing on routine in-process and drug substance samples
- Maintain cGMP-compliant Quality Control and Stability laboratory operations
- Support product dispositions through sample review and reconciliation
- Write Standard Operating Procedures, technical reports, and project plans
- Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with ad hoc laboratory requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Manufacturing or quality experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
- Fundamental understanding of laboratory instrumentation and analytical troubleshooting
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations and data analysis
Compensation: $60,200–$100,400 base plus 7.5% bonus target
