About the Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Golden Age Foundation, you’ll play a vital role in our mission to bridge the gaps between mental health, reentry, family support, education, employment, housing, and more. This position offers the opportunity to work in an innovative, collaborative environment where your expertise will help individuals heal, rebuild, and achieve stability and independence.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
- Provide compassionate and evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals across diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications as needed, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a seamless network of support for our clients.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric care.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients and their families.
