License Practical Nurse NightsDescription of the role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated License Practical Nurse to join our team at Neulife Rehabilitation in Mt Dora, Florida. As an LPN, you will provide exceptional patient care during night shifts, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our patients.Responsibilities:Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physiciansMonitor and record patients' vital signsAssist with patient assessments and evaluationsCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsMaintain accurate patient records and documentationGeneral AccountabilitiesAdministers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patients' charts.Observes patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions.Answers patients' calls and determines how to assist them.Measures and records patients' vital signs.Provides basic patient care or treatments.Works as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.Supervises nurses' aides or assistants.Assembles and uses equipment, such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, or oxygen suppliers.Records food and fluid intake and output.Collects samples, such as blood and urine from patients, and performs routine laboratory tests on samples.Prepares patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures.Helps patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.Sterilizes equipment and supplies.*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Job QualificationsEducation: Associate's degree in nursingExperience: LPN license with 1-2 years of related experienceSkillsService orientationActive listeningCoordinationMonitoringWound CareIV CertifiedWhy Work HereFloating Holidays & PTOLife, Health, Dental, Short Term/Long Term Disability1 Weekend per month requirement,Flexible schedule on 12 hr. shiftsContinuing education opportunities availableSupportive team environment for new gradsPay rate $26-$36 depending on experienceCompetitive Shift DifferentialsOT available and shift pick-up bonusesNurse Patient ratio less than 16,CNA support on groups of fewer than 5 patients per group.About Neulife Rehabilitation:Neulife Rehabilitation is a leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitative services in Mt Dora, Florida.
