Advance your public accounting career as a Junior Financial Analyst with Castro & Company, where you’ll lead and support contract audit support for high‑profile Federal Government clients. What you’ll do in this role: Manage audit requests and rate verifications Prepare Indirect Rate Agreement Letters and Low-Risk Memos Perform Incurred Cost Proposal Submission Adequacy Determinations and Contractor Disclosure Statement Adequacy Determinations Perform Analyses of Contractor Proposed Provisional Billing Rates Prepare and review Pre-Award Surveys of Contractor Accounting Systems Maintain strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with client personnel Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field from an accredited university 1+ years of DCAA contract type audit or compliance experience CPA, or eligible to sit for the CPA exam highly preferred Ability to lead audit tasks and effectively collaborate with team members and clients Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required) Preferred skills and attributes: Experience serving Federal Government clients or working in a government audit environment Exposure to contract audits Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Interest in mentoring and developing junior audit professionals Salary Range: $65K-$75K Final compensation will bedeterminedbased on a range of factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, security clearance level, certifications, and other factorspermittedby applicable law. Salary ranges listed reflect the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
