Job Description
Join a dynamic team at a high-volume fertility clinic where you will prepare patients efficiently and create a warm, supportive experience. Your role will include obtaining and accurately documenting vital signs, performing phlebotomy with precision, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR system. Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to deliver a seamless, patient-centered experience.
Responsibilities

• Prepare patients efficiently while creating a warm, supportive experience.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs (manual and electronic) and update patient information in the EMR.
• Perform phlebotomy with precision, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and coordinate care to maintain smooth clinic flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Ensure exam rooms and clinical spaces are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to deliver a seamless, patient-centered experience.

Essential Skills

• Medical assisting and phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or equivalent).
• Proficiency in venipuncture, specimen collection, and using various needles.
• Experience with EMR systems or the ability to quickly learn.
• Strong general technology skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
• MA Cert and/or CPT certifications preferred, not required.
• Eager to learn and participate in cross-training opportunities.
• Strong interest in fertility care and alignment with the clinic's mission.
• Seeking a long-term opportunity with growth potential in the organization.

Work Environment
Located in Portland, the fertility clinic operates Monday through Friday with start times between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, requiring 8-hour shifts. Weekend rotations are required one to two weekends per month, including Saturday and Sunday, with two weekdays off during the week. Holiday rotations are also required, with the expectation to work one major holiday per year. The clinic provides clean branded scrubs daily, and employees have lockers to store personal items. There is no free on-site parking; staff must pay for parking, whether street parking or purchased passes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
