Nurse Practitioner | Pediatrics - General/Other Location: Puyallup, WA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Puyallup, WA • Service Setting: Outpatient Community Health Center • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: ASAP – 3 Months with possibility to extend • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p with 1-hour unpaid lunch PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Newborns through Pediatrics • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 16 patients per day • Case Mix: General Pediatric outpatient care FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Onsite pediatricians and behavioral health support • Support Staff Available: Dedicated medical assistant, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and healthcare administrator PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Temporary Privileges Available: TBD • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 2–3 weeks COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Pediatric wellness exams • Sick visits and acute pediatric care • Preventive pediatric care and immunizations JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active Washington NP license required • BC/BE required • Active Washington DEA required • BLS required • Clean Record • COVID and Flu vaccinated • Experience in outpatient community health or vulnerable populations preferred • Must be proficient with Epic EMR and able to work in a fast-paced environment DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for newborns through adolescents • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions • Document patient encounters accurately within Epic EMR • Collaborate with multidisciplinary support staff and providers • Deliver compassionate care to vulnerable and diverse patient populations
