Receptionist

We are hiring for one of our member CPA firms, FJ & Associates. They are a full-service accounting firm of about 30 employees located in Kaysville, UT. We are seeking a Receptionist to serve as the critical first point of contact for their clients, especially during busy seasons. This role is all about creating a warm, welcoming experience — you’ll manage high-volume communications, guide clients through the document drop-off process, and help every client feel taken care of. You’ll also play a key role in the tax season workflow, helping intake client documents and assemble finished tax returns. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, stays steady under pressure, and brings a friendly, empathetic approach to every interaction. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients, serving as the first point of contact for the firm in person, by phone, and by email Manage high-volume communications, especially during busy seasons Guide clients through the document drop-off process Intake and scan client tax documents Follow up with clients regarding missing documents or signature pages Electronically and manually assemble and package tax returns for clients Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Front-desk experience is desired, but not required Warm, empathetic, and professional demeanor Quick learner with computer systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus Absolute discretion and a strong commitment to protecting sensitive financial information Strong communication and organizational skills Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Some overtime during busy season (February through April 15), paid at 1.5x Summer hours: June–August, 32–36 hours per week with Fridays off What We Offer Pay: $20–$22 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x Health Insurance: 100% of employee premium covered; dental coverage split 50/50 Life Insurance: $50,000 policy provided 401(k): 100% match on the first 3% contributed, plus 50% match on the next 2% #J-18808-Ljbffr Linked Accounting Alliance
