Job Description

• Develop Tailored Treatment Strategies: Assess individual patient needs and create customized therapy programs to help them meet their functional objectives

• Engage with Interprofessional Teams: Coordinate with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide a comprehensive approach to care
• Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers on therapy strategies to facilitate continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor treatment outcomes continuously and modify strategies to keep patients on the path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
