Director - Learning & Development

The Director - Learning & Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the learning and development strategy for Landmark. This role involves leading a team of L&D professionals, working closely with various departments to identify training needs, and ensuring that
programs align with Landmark's goals and objectives. The Director - Learning & Development will organize and facilitate multi-modal delivered training programs for new and existing team members, including leadership training for managers to enhance overall performance.

Direct Reports: Learning & Development Manager

Travel: 10%

Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the role's responsibilities and should

• Develop and implement comprehensive L&D strategies that support organizational goals.
• Oversee the design and delivery of training programs and materials.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and gaps.
• Manage the L&D budget and resources efficiently.
• Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into training programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Facilitate leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
• Utilize data and analytics to measure the impact of L&D activities.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field strongly preferred.
• Eight to ten years of progressive experience designing and implementing L&D programs
• LMS/HRIS experience preferred.
• SHRM - CP certification preferred

• Must have excellent communication, management, and people skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
• Strong financial, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong internet, word processing, and spreadsheet skills
