Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with established recipes and dietary requirements

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards

• Order and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment

• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and execute meal services, including catering and special events

• Develop and implement creative and appealing meal presentations that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding food safety and handling

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience as a cook or in a related field (training and certification programs welcome)

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time
