Education Code 87408.6 states that no person shall be initially employed by a community college district in an academic or classified position unless the person has submitted to an examination (TB test) within the past sixty (60) days to determine that he/she/they are free of active tuberculosis.

Job Title - Payroll Technician - Full Time

Location - Sutter County Center - Yuba City, CA

Job Description - BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and his/her designee, performs technical and complex payroll accounting duties involving financial and statistical record-keeping in payroll; assure the timely preparation and distribution of financial and statistical reports and records for the Payroll Department. Calculates, balances and reports financial and statistical data. Performs related work as required. Required Qualifications - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to an Associates degree or equivalent with 4 years of accounting or payroll experience.

Range/Step - Range 30, Steps 1 - 11

Salary Range - $26.11 - $36.81 Per Hour (Steps 1 - 11) Placement will be based on both the candidate's years of experience and educational qualifications.
