Wellness is part of the guest experience - and our Massage Therapists help create moments of relaxation, restoration, and care that guests truly remember. As a Massage Therapist, you'll provide personalized spa and wellness treatments while delivering exceptional hospitality and creating a calm, elevated experience for every guest.

What you'll be doing

• Provide professional massage therapy services and wellness treatments according to spa, wellness, and hospitality standards.
  
  

• Deliver personalized guest experiences by assessing guest preferences, wellness goals, and treatment needs professionally and thoughtfully.
  
  

• Maintain strong knowledge of massage techniques, spa treatments, wellness services, and hospitality guest experience standards.
  
  

• Create a calm, welcoming, and relaxing environment throughout all guest interactions and treatment experiences.
  
  

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation standards across treatment rooms, equipment, linens, tools, and spa areas.
  
  

• Follow sanitation procedures, licensing requirements, safety standards, and spa operational policies at all times.
  
  

• Support retail sales initiatives by recommending wellness products, spa treatments, and guest care enhancements as appropriate.
  
  

• Maintain accurate appointment schedules, guest treatment records, and operational documentation as required.
  
  

• Coordinate closely with Spa Reception, Spa Attendants, wellness teams, and hotel leadership to support seamless spa operations and guest satisfaction.
  
  

• Assist with spa events, wellness programming, bridal parties, resort activations, and special guest experiences as needed.
  
  

• Help foster a calm, welcoming, and guest-focused atmosphere aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
  
  

• Any other duties as assigned.
  
  

What great looks like

• Previous massage therapy, spa, wellness, luxury hospitality, or resort experience preferred.
  
  

• Valid state massage therapy license required where applicable.
  
  

• Strong knowledge of massage therapy techniques, wellness treatments, anatomy, sanitation standards, and spa best practices.
  
  

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills with a polished and professional presence.
  
  

• Ability to create relaxing, personalized, and elevated guest experiences.
  
  

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, presentation, wellness, and service quality.
  
  

• Knowledge of spa products, wellness services, retail sales, and hospitality service standards preferred.
  
  

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced spa or hospitality environment.
  
  

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and resort operational support as needed.
  
  

• A passion for hospitality, wellness, guest engagement, and creating memorable spa experiences.
