The successful candidate will possess an understanding of Digital Signal Processing techniques, insight into RF mission fundamentals, and the ability to perform analysis and/or modeling and simulation of complex space systems. The candidate will support development and validation of requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architecture products, system schedules, and risks for end-to-end closure. The candidate will evaluate ELINT, SIGINT, COMINT R&D projects.Analysis of RF systems, performance metrics, timelines, and modelsModeling and Simulation of RF systemsIdentify and document issues impacting both spacecraft and ground systems through objective analysis and processesProvide technical expertise in systems and engineering to support RF enterprise mission operations activities, programs, systems, and processesEvaluate RF R&D projects, advising on technical maturation from low TRL to transitionCommunicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesParticipate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetingsInterface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges.Generate and maintain technical documentation and reports.Work Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%Working Hours: StandardQualifications:Required:Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph requiredEducation: Bachelors in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fieldExperience: 8+ years' experience in RF engineeringTechnical: Prior experience with SIGINT technical topicsMission: Prior experience with satellite systems and RF mission fundamentalsRequirements: Experience with CONOPs, architecture products, and/or requirementsSkills: Strong communication skills to interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groupsDocumentation: Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and reportsReady to Make a Difference?If you're excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
