Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and direct the front-of-house team
• Build respectful relationships with every member of the team while holding them accountable
• Manage high standards while paying attention to every detail 
• Focus with the team on creating fun, unforgettable guest experiences every time
• Keep operations running smoothly in a very high-volume environment
• Create FOH schedules and manage FOH labor

Assistant Restaurant Manager Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a full-service front-of-house management role in a high-volume, systems-oriented casual or upscale-casual environment 
• Solid and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, lead by example, and uphold restaurant standards
• Thick skin to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to maintain standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships 
• Proactive problem-solver and hands-on work ethic
