Weekend Hospice RN Harmony Hospice

Join our team at Harmony Hospice as a Hospice RN! Part-time opportunity available. Must work every Saturday and Sunday! $55.00 per hour (all inclusive).

We also serve as a resource for loved ones as they go through their emotional journeys, make important decisions, and learn how to best care for their families during this time. Responsibilities for Hospice RN:

• Manages primary caseload of Hospice patients per physician's instructions and in compliance with hospice regulations and Medicare guidelines
• Implements and updates care plans to address patient's nursing needs
• Educates and supports patients, family, and staff on nursing care and patient needs
• Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to meet all patient and family care requirements
• Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Hospice Aides when needed

Requirements for Hospice RN:

• Experience as a Registered Nurse required
• Discharge planning experience is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, expressing self in a clear, concise, and professional manner
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, families, and external case managers
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptions
